Tennis Players on Twitter: Who is The Social Media Champion

If you ever wondered what tennis players on Twitter deserve to be called social media champions then this infographic is for you. During the Australian Open, IBM and Tennis Australia teamed up to analyze the sentiment related to each player.

With the help of  IBM”s Social Sentiment Index a score and ranking was developed for each player. The ranking is based on data from IBM’s Social Sentiment Index using a combination of advanced analytics and natural language process across Twitter, other social media sites and even news sites to build a sentiment score for each player. According to the reports the top tennis players on Twitter and social media champions are mens tennis players Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, roger Federer, Bernard Tomic and David Ferrer. The top women tennis players were Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, and Petra Kvitova.
