Since its founding in 2004, Golden Seeds has invested $34 million in 42 startups. 2011 was one of their most active years, investing over $1 million in in 1 new startups and 1 follow on investments.
Golden Seeds focuses exclusively on investing in female entrepreneurs. The angel group also has an expanding number of venture capital funds, a new private equity business, and an educational academy that provides training and teaches best practices.
Central Texas Angel Network
The Central Texas Angel Network is a nonprofit corporation founded by local investors and community leaders in Austin, Texas. They have a large membership base made up of high net worth individuals with backgrounds in a wide range of industries.
